Djembe or Jembe drum is a rope-tuned skin-covered goblets drum played with bare hands, originally from West Africa. Inverted C. 1200AD.
This particular drum is called 4 face djembe drum which is the smallest among the djembe drum category. The drum is very loud, allowing it to be heard clearly as a solo instrument over a large percussion ensemble. It is made from leather and quality wood carefully selected from the Ghanaian rain forest.
